IDENTITATE-ALTERITATE

 

Filmul este un remake al unui performance susţinut în cadrul examenului de master la Academia de Arte Vizuale "Ion Andreescu", 1995. Tema se numea Identitate-Alteritate şi trebuia susţinută prin mijloace neconvenţionale în 15 minute, cât avea fiecare student la dispoziţie pentru a exprima acest concept cât mai bine, iar profesorii priveau şi notau.

Eu am ales să fac o lucrare de Mail Art din buletinul de identitate.

 

"Tocmai pentru că alteritatea este o percepţie diferită a propriei fiinţe şi nu substanţa sa adevărată, rolul acestui performance este de a răbufni spre exterior cu ceea ce există adevărat/real în interior şi a arăta că limitările, încorsetările exterioare, chiar normele sociale deformează fiinţa, o alterează."

Performance remake 2015 – Blanca Alina Pop

The film is a remake of a performance put on in the Master’s Degree Exam at Ion Andreescu Visual Arts Academy in 1995. The theme was “Identity-Alterity” and it had to be given using nonconventional means or equipment, in 15-minute time, as a student had to express the concept as good as possible, while the professors were watching and scoring.

My choice was to design a work of Mail Art from the identity card, at the same time, insisting on the noise made by tearing, stamping and signing the identity documents at the office.

 

“It is exactly because alterity consists of a different perception characterizing our being, not its true self, this performance aims at bursting into exterior what is within, really inside and at highlighting the outside constraints and even the social norms which convert and alter the human being.”
